Hygiene Records

For certain types of farm (MEM – Milk, Eggs, Meat), for all food Manufacturers, and for Shops and Restaurants, there is a mandatory requirement to maintain Hygiene records:

  1. Cleaning
  2. Pest Control
  3. Drinking Water Quality
  4. Personnel Training
  5. Maintenance
  6. Temperature Control
  7. Hygiene Verification

The frequency of record keeping depends on the type of operation you have and on your agreement of autocontrol with your local Health authority. In some cases, some of these Hygiene records may not be relavant (Temperature control, for example).

BioTrack provides 2 methods of maintaining your Hygiene records:

Manual Entry of results

With this option you simply enter the results of your hygiene inspections, one by one. The results are stored in BioTrack.

Auto-Populate Health Registries

The reality of maintaining Hygiene registry data is that 99% of the time, the results of positive, wheras only occasionally there is a problem. BioTrack allows for this situation by providing an option to “auto-populate” the Hygiene registries. This means that the registries are automatically populated with positive inspection results, with the option to edit and enter any type of exception or negative result.

This saves a lot of time and repetition, because it means that you only need to keep a record of exceptions to the hygiene standards.
